Bad University Habits
If you are living at university or college then I must say that you may want to pay attention to this article.. Of course if you are one of the parents some of this may actually come as a bit of a shock.
While there is no way a student can regularly afford to get the catering companies in that doesn’t mean that there excuses when it comes to not eating properly.
It Could Be On It’s Way Out?
Although there are a few foods out there that wont do you any harm if they are a few days out of date there are many that you shouldn’t even think about touching simply because they could really make you quite ill. If you are looking for a date and it is a use by one then you shouldnt touch it the next day after it has gone off as it could cause you harm, best before dates are different and shouldnt do you any harm. However you will notice a bit of a poor taste or texture. These are unlikely to make you ill.
Leftovers
I cannot really talk on this one because I am always eating leftovers however it isnt a good idea to eat that old takeaway unless it has been in the fridge. The major reason for this is because that left in the right condition bacteria can multiply thousands of times over. Guess what, the right condition is that nice room temperature that people tend to leave the pizzas out in. If you are in fact looking to make the meal hot again make sure it is not warm but piping hot.
Greenish Foods
If you are seeing a nice furry greeen patch on the bread, throw it in the bin, do not just cut that bit off.. The thing is the mould can produce toxins that spread to the rest of the food which of course is not a good thing.
so although you may not be able to get outside catering do make sure you do not eat all of the wrong foods.
